The Beech Holme Tandem Club is based at Sight Support Beverley Road, Hull and was formed in 1950 by Cliff Pratt (a well-known local cycle retailer) and his fellow members of the Cycling Touring Club (now known as Cycling UK).

The club was formed so that visually impaired back riders could enjoy the pleasures of cycling through the countryside with sighted front riders.

Some 70 plus years on we are still doing this.
